We created this blog to keep you informed about my grandmother, Natasha. You can check back here to get updates on her condition. Four weeks ago, she fell and broke her hip. She came through the operation, and was in physical therapy when her health began to decline. As of last Thursday, she had been moved to the Nathan Adelson Hospice in Summerlin, where she is currently resting comfortably. She made miraculous progress this weekend, talking and eating for the first time in 4 days (something the doctor said she would never do again). Maybe it was due to the upcoming Academy Awards, as you know she is forever a showman....It was so wonderful to hear that Russian accent again! :) However, she has been in and out, which is why we've created this blog to keep everyone up to date. I included some pictures of her in her showbiz days for all to admire as well, so enjoy. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers, and feel free to come visit her if you want, she loves visitors....

Hi Randy,
ReplyDeleteWas such a treat to see pictures of your Grandmother when she was a young woman and so pretty. We loved seeing her bright smile when your Dad would take her for rides in the red Miata convertible with the top down. We love her and pray for her daily and pray she will heal soon. We are the next door neighbors of your Mom and Dad. Keep up your news of Natasha and her progress.
